As per the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy circular, dated February 4, 2026, the following clause has been inserted vide S.N. 117 (4) in Table 1 of the Department of Revenue (Ministry of Finance)'s Notification no. 02/2026-Customs dated January 2, 2026: "Forged steel rings, falling under tariff item 7326 9099, for manufacture of special bearings for use in wind operated electricity generators". CCDC applications should be submitted along with supporting documents like Invoices/Packing Lists corroborating with tariff item 7326 9099 on the MNRE Wind CCDC portal to enable the Ministry to issue Concessional Customs Duty Certificates (CCDCs) for the import of forged steel rings. CIRCULAR
In pursuance of Department of Revenue (Ministry of Finance)'s Notification no. 02/2026
Customs dated 0 1.02.2026, it is to convey that following clause has been inserted vide S.N. I17
(4) in Table 1:
"Forged steel rings, falling under tariff item 7326 9099, for manufacture of special
bearings for use in wind operated electricity generators".
2. Accordingly, it is informed that the CCDC applications are to be submitted along with the
supporting documents such as Invoices/Packing Lists corroborating with tariff item 7326 9099 on
the MNRE Wind CCDC portal, so as enable this Ministry to issue Concessional Customs Duty
Certificates (CCDCs) for import of forged steel rings.
3. These issues with the approval of Competent Authority.
