**Summary:**
On September 10, 2025, the Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare, under the chairmanship of the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh, will conduct the 14th Pension Adalat at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. This Adalat will focus on resolving 894 long-pending family pension grievances from 21 Departments/Ministries. The initiative aims to expedite grievance resolution and ensure the financial security and dignity of family pensioners. The Adalat will address issues such as delays in the commencement of family pensions or incorrect processing and disbursement of pension amounts, potentially leading to the release of significant arrears. Key participating departments include the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (250 cases), PCDAP Prayagraj (313 cases), Department of Financial Services (Banking Division) (128 cases), and Ministry of Home Affairs (78 cases). The event reflects the government's commitment to addressing pensioner grievances and ensuring timely and accurate pension disbursement.

Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare will be conducting the 14 Pension Adalat under the
Chairmanship of Hon’ble MoS(PP), Dr Jitendra Singh at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi with the theme of
“Family Pensioners & Super senior pensioners” on 10.09.2025 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. 894
grievances related to family pension matters pertaining to 21 Departments/Ministries are proposed to be taken

It is envisaged to resolve the chronic and long-pending grievances thereby facilitating payment of the rightful
due of the pensioners whether in the form of huge arrears due to delay in either starting of the family pension
or due to procedural delays, the pension has not been processed and disbursed correctly.
