Read the following:- Ref:-1).From the Collector, Anantapur District., Lr.Rc.No.1485/06-E1, Dt:12.05.2011. 2).From the Spl.CS and CCLA, Hyderabad, Lr.No.B2/747/2011, Dt:16.08.2011. * * * ORDER: In the reference 1st read above the Collector, Guntur has reported that the superintendent of Police, Guntur addressed the Chief Engineer, Nagarjuna Sagar Project, Hill Colony for allotment of land at Vijayapuri South, Nagarjuna Sagar for construction of Police Station Buildings and staff quarters and also reported that the subject land is un- surveyed category and is under the control of NSP authorities and the land is suitable for construction of Police Station and staff quarters. 2. The Collector, Guntur has further reported that in view of the Nagarjuna Sagar Project security and tourist’s point of view, there is a need to construct permanent building for the Police Station. 3. Finally the Collector, Guntur, has requested the Government to accord necessary permission to the District Collector/Chief Engineer, Nagarjuna Sagar Project, V.P. South, for transfer of land in question, and pending transfer of the same land, accord permission to hand over advance possession of the land to the Police Department so as to take up the construction work. 4. Through the reference 2nd read above the Special Chief Secretary and Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Hyderabad, reported that the land is vested with the Irrigation Department and the consent of the Irrigation Department is necessary either for handing over advance possession of the land, or transfer of the above land in favour of Police Department. The Collector, Guntur has already addressed the Secretary to Government, I& CAD Department. 5. Finally the Special Chief Secretary and Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Hyderabad while enclosing the report of the Collector, Guntur has requested the Government to pass necessary orders, in the matter. 6. The I & CAD Department., have agreed to part with the land for the use of the Police Department., and requested the Revenue Department to take necessary action in the matter, as the land is necessary for the Police Department. The I & CAD Department have also referred the matter to the Finance Department and the Finance(W&P) Department, have agreed to transfer the land in favour of Police Department. …..2-- 2 -- 7. In the circumstances reported by the Collector, Guntur and the Spl. CS & CCLA, Hyderabad, and as agreed to by the I& CAD Department, the Government after careful examination of the matter hereby, decide and order that the land to an extent of Ac.1.44 Cts., in Sy.No.946 of Nagulavaram(V) of Macherla (M), Guntur District belonging to I & CAD Department, be transferred in favour of Police Department., for construction of Police Station Buildings and Staff Quarters at Vijayapuri south, Nagarjuna Sagar. 8. The Collector, Guntur, shall take necessary action accordingly for transfer of the land, in favour of the Police Department. 9. The Superintendent of Police, Guntur District, shall ensure to complete the construction of the Police Station Building and Staff Quarters, within the stipulated period.
