From the Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati Letter Roc.No. B3/11415/2008, dt.10.02.2012. -::O::- O R D E R:- The following notification will be published in an Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette Dated:09.04.2012. NOTIFICATION Whereas, the Government of Andhra Pradesh declared the services in the Water Works Department, Electrical Department, Health and Sanitation Department, Medical Department, Engineering Department (Maintenance Section), Transport Department, Canteen Department including S.V. Annadanam, Tirumala, Vigilance and Security Department, Dairy Farm/S.V. Gosamrakshanasala, Temple Administration (Queue Complex, Temple, Potu, Local Temples), Kalyanakatta Complex, Reception, Tirupati and Tirumala under the administrative control of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati as “Essential Services” under sub-clause (vi) of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act 20 of 1971). And whereas, the Government have prohibited the strikes in all the said essential services under the control of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati for a period of six months vide G.O.Rt.No.1153, Revenue (Endts. III) Department, dt.23.09.2011. The said period of six months expires on 23.03.2012. And whereas, the Government are satisfied that in the public interest, it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in all the above said essential services under the control of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati for a further period of six months with effect from 24.03.2012 to 23.09.2012. …2.:: 2 :: Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act 20 of 1971), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby prohibit the strikes in the aforesaid essential services under the control of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati for a further period of six months with effect from 24.03.2012.
