No.168/ RCT-TCD/ 2006, dt.1.12.2006. 2) G.O.Ms.No.421, Revenue (Vig.VI) Dept., dt.3-4-2007. 3) Judgment of the Court of Spl.Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Nellore, dt.1-12-11 in C.C.No.14/07. 4) From the DG, ACB, Hyd., Lr.No.168/RCT-TCD/06. S7, dt. 21-12-11. --- ORDER: On the allegation of corruption, the Anti Corruption Bureau authorities have trapped Sri Akunuri Sri Mohd. Usman Basha , formerly Special Deputy Tahsildar, O/o the Special Deputy Collector, Land Acquisition, Telugu Ganga Project Unit-1, Kadapa District and now retired from service when he demanded and accepted the bribe of Rs.3000/- from the complainant Sri Ponagani Ramaiah, S/o Basavaiah, Ambapuram Village, Kasinayana Mandal, Kadapa District for showing official favour of issuing cheque towards the compensation amount for his (44) cents of agricultural land acquired by the Govt. under Telugu Ganga Project. As per the recommendation of the Anti Corruption Bureau in its final report 1st read above, Government have accorded sanction for prosecution of Sri Mohd. Usman Basha, formerly Special Deputy Tahasildar, O/o the Special Deputy Collector (LA), Telugu Ganga Project, Unit-1, Kadapa in a court of law vide G.O. 2nd read above. Accordingly, Sri Mohd. Usman Basha , formerly Special Deputy Tahsildar, O/o the Special Deputy Collector, Land Acquisition, Telugu Ganga Project Unit-1, Kadapa District was charge sheeted in a court of law. 2. In the reference 3rd read above, the Court of the Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Nellore pronounced judgment in C.C.No.14/2007 finding the Accused Officer Sri Mohd. Usman Basha , formerly Special Deputy Tahsildar, O/o the Special Deputy Collector, Land Acquisition, Telugu Ganga Project Unit-1, Kadapa District and now retired from service guilty of the charges framed against him, under section 7, 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and convicted him under section 248(2) Cr.P.C. 3. Government, after careful examination of the matter and keeping in view the provisions of sub-rule (2) of rule (8) of the Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980, according to which there is no necessity to issue show (Pto)::2:: cause notice in conviction cases, impose the punishment of withholding of entire pension and gratuity permanently on Sri Mohd. Usman Basha , formerly Special Deputy Tahsildar, O/o the Special Deputy Collector, Land Acquisition, Telugu Ganga Project Unit-1, Kadapa District and now retired from service, under Rule 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980 for the conduct which led to his conviction in CC.No.14/2007, dated 01.12.2011. 4. The Special Chief Secretary & Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad shall take necessary further action in the matter accordingly.
