In the reference 1st read above, the Director General, Anti-
Corruption Bureau has reported that in the search conducted by
the Bureau on the residential premises of Pasupeleti Anjaiah,
Mandal Revenue Officer, Anumasamudrampet Mandal Nellore
district , at other places revealed that the A.O. is in possession of
assets disproportionate to his known sources of income to the tune
of Rs.30,12,808-80/- and requested to issue authorization to the
investigating officer of the Bureau for making application in the
court of SPE & ACB Court Nellore for attachment of property.
Accordingly, orders were issued vide G.O.Ms.No.648,Rev(Vig.II)
Dept, dt.30.05.2003. The DG, A.C.B., in his final report has
recommended to prosecute the AO in a court of Law. In the
reference 2nd read above orders were issued for prosecution the
A.O in a court of law.
In the reference 3rd read above, the Director General, Anti-
Corruption Bureau has informed that the Special Judge for SPE &
ACB Cases, Nellore in the judgment dt.22.11.2011 in C.C.No.17/05
convicting Sri Pasupeleti Anjaiah former Mandal Revenue Officer
P.T.O:: 2 ::
Anumasamudrampeta, Nellore District. found guilty of a charge
under Section 13(2) read-with 13(1)(e) of Prevention of Corruption
Act,1988, convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous
imprisonment for 3(three) years and further sentenced to pay a
fine of Rs.2,00.000/-(Rupees Two lakhs only), in default, to
undergo 6 (six) months simple imprisonment under section 248(2)
Cr.P.C. Serial No.2 of Annexure-A of Ex.P.45 being residential
house bearing door No.2-127, Jagannadharaopet Atmakur, and
Serial No.4 of Annexure-A of Ex.p.45, a commercial complex,
known as ‘Mahalakshmi Commercial Complex’ BSR Center near Bus
stand, main road, Atmakur, which are the assets of the accused,
are directed to be sold in public auction, in view of forfeiture of
Rs.10,78,093 (Rupees ten lakh seventy eight thousand ninety three
only) proved to be the value of disproportionate assets, acquired by
the accused, as public servant, while holding office as such during
the check period to his known sources of income, for the purpose of
realizing such amount by the Government. The Government is also
permitted to realize the fine amount, if not paid by the accused, out
of sale proceeds realized therefore. The accused is entitled for set
off to the extent applicable, for the period of remand, in terms of
Sec.428 Cr.P.C,
Government, after careful examination of the matter and the
judgment of Special Judge for SPE & Anti-Corruption Bureau,
dt.22.11.2011 in C.C.No.17/2005 wherein Sri Pasupeleti Anjaiah
former Mandal Revenue Officer Anumasamudrampeta, Nellore
District (retired) was convicted have decided to impose a
punishment of withholding of Pensionary benefits and also
permitted to take action for sale in public action two houses
of Sri Pasupeleti Anjaiah former Mandal Revenue Officer
Anumasamudrampeta, Nellore District bearing door No.2-127,:: 3 ::
Jagannadhraopet Atmakur and (Serial No.4 of Annexure-A of
Ex.p.45), commercial complex, known as ‘Mahalakshmi Commercial
Complex’ BSR Center near Bus stand, main road, Atmakur,
The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Hyderabad is
requested to take necessary action in the matter, accordingly.
