GENERAL ADMINISTRATION (OP.II) DEPARTMNT G.O.Ms No. 171 Dated:28.03.2012 Read:- G.O.Ms.No.148, Genl. Admn. (OP.II) Deptt., Dt.06.04.1995 *** ORDER: In the G.O. read above, orders were issued for payment of an amount of Rs. 2,500/- per month, to each of the ministers, as allowance if they intend to have an outsider as an Additional Driver in lieu of the Drivers being drafted from the Departments/ Offices etc., on O.D. w.e.f 12.12.1994. 2. Government after careful examination, hereby enhance the amount from Rs. 2,500/- to Rs. 8,000/- per month to each of the ministers, as allowance if they intend to have an outsider as an Additional Driver in lieu of the Drivers being drafted from the Department/ Offices etc. with immediate effect. 3. The expenditure sanctioned in para (2) above shall be debited to “2013-Council of Ministers – MH 101 – Salary of Ministers and Dy. Ministers – SH (04) – Salary of Ministers and Dy. Ministers – 010 – Salaries”. 4. All Departments of Secretariat are requested to draw and disburse the allowance as sanctioned in para 2 above to the Ministers only on receipt of requests from the respective peshies of the Ministers duly indicating the names of the outsiders so appointed as Additional Driver, through General Administration (OP.II) Department. 5.
