There have been several representations received from various Freedom Fighters Associations for enhancement of Freedom Fighters Pension to the pensioners under State Scheme and also to provide facilities on par with Freedom Fighter Pensioners under Central scheme. 3. Government have examined the matter in detail and decided to enhance the Freedom Fighters Pension under State scheme from Rs.2000/- to Rs.4000/- per month with effect from 1-4-2012 to the Freedom Fighters and the widows of Freedom Fighters. 4. Accordingly, the Government direct that the Freedom Fighter Pension under State Scheme be enhanced from Rs.2000/- to Rs.4000/- per month with effect from 01-04-2012. 5. The District Collectors in the State shall take immediate necessary action in the matter. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Exp.Rev.) Department vide their U.O.No.9381-PFS(FP)/330/A1/Exp.Rev/2011, dt:24-11-2011.
