HEALTH, MEDICAL & FAMILY WELFARE (VC-1) DEPARTMENT G.O.Ms.No. 63 Dated:17-3-2012 Read the following: 1. G.O.Ms.No. 303, HM & FW (VC1) Dept. Dtd.14-6-1994 2. Orders of APAT in OA No.3132/1995 filed by Dr. P.Prabhakara Rao, Dt.18-7-2002 3. Govt.Memo.No.20200/VC1(1)/05-6, Dt.31-7-2006 4. From Smt P.Savitri W/o (late) Dr. P.Prabhakar Rao, Dt.10-3-2011. 5. From the DPH &FW, Hyd Rc.No.3813/VC.III.B/1991, Dt.15-11- 2011 * * * * ORDER: Whereas, Dr. P.Prabhakar Rao, while working as Additional District Medical & Health Officer, Palwancha, Khammam District placed under suspension from 20-9- 1991 to 30-6-1993 for the irregularities that he was placed orders for drugs worth of Rs.11.86 lakhs without following prescribed procedure and initiated disciplinary proceedings against him. 2. In the reference 3rd read above, further proceedings against Dr.P.Prabhakara Rao, formerly Additional District Medical & Health Officer, Palwancha (Retired) were abated as the individual expired on 01-3-2002. 3. In the reference 4th read above, Smt P.Savithri, W/o late P.Prabhakar Rao has represented to fix the family pension and other benefits without excluding the suspension period as exoneration. The Director of Public Health & Family Welfare has requested to treat the suspension period between the date of suspension and the date of death as duty period, as the Government servant had died before conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings vide reference 5th cited. 4. After careful examination of the matter, Government hereby decided and order to treat the suspension period of Sri P.Prabhakar Rao, (late) Additional District Medical & Health Officer, Palwancha for the period from 20-9-1991 to 30-6- 1993 (date of retirement) as on duty under FR 54-B(2). 5. The Director of Public Health & Family Welfare shall take necessary action accordingly. 6. This order issued with the concurrence of Finance (FR.II) Department vide their U.O.No.2916/83/FR.II/12, Dated.23-2-2012.
