Karunakar Rao, while working as District Immunization Officer, Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, Kurnool placed under suspension from 11-4-2003 to 18-1-2005 for the irregularities in purchase of drugs and without following the rules at Unit Hospital, APSP, Kurnool along with others and initiated disciplinary proceedings against him. 2. In the reference 2nd read above, further proceedings against Dr. V.D. Karunakar Rao, formerly District Immunization Office, Officer of the District Medical & Health Officer, Kurnool were abated as the individual expired on 05-08-2010. 3. In the reference 3rd read above, Dr. R. Swarnalatha, W/o late Dr. V.D. Karunakar Rao has represented to regularize the suspension period of Dr. V.D.Karunakar Rao, as duty period and to release increments due. The Director of Public Health & Family Welfare has requested to consider to regularise the suspension period vide reference 4th cited. 4. After careful examination of the matter, Government has decided and hereby order to treat the suspension period of Dr. V.D. Karunkar Rao, (late) District Immunization Officer, Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, Kurnool for the period from 11-4-2003 to 18-1-2005 as on duty under FR 54-B(2). 5. The Director of Public Health & Family Welfare shall take necessary action accordingly. 6.
