NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 28th August, 2026 S.O. 5145(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-sections (3) and (6) of section 3 read with sub-section (2) of section 5 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Department of Animal Husbandry, vide number S.O. 2662 (E), dated the 5th July, 2024, published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 9th July, 2024, namely:-[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 In the said notification, -

(a) under the heading “Members nominated under clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 3”, for serial numbers 3 and 4 and entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall respectively be substituted, namely: - Members nominated under clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 3 S. Name and address of Member Designation No.

"3. Dr. Prem Singh Member Director General, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of Haryana.

4. Dr. Nikhil Kumar Shit Member", Director, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Department of Animal Resources Development, Government of West Bengal.
