Whereas, the Government of Karnataka has designated Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) as the Regional Development Authority for Narasapura Special Investment Region published vide Notification-II, No. CI 27 SPQR.N.I. No. KARBIL/2001/47147 POSTAL REGN. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 7 2025, dated 28.02.2025 as required under sub-section (1) & (3) of section 8 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023). Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred under Sub Section (1) of Section 29 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023), “the Narasapura Special Investment Region” shall deemed to be an Industrial Township and the Government of Karnataka hereby declare that the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (Regional Development Authority) to be the Industrial Township Authority. Also, the Government of Karnataka hereby accord permission to exercise powers and discharge functions of Industrial Township Authority by the Regional Development Authority under sub-section (2) & (3) of section 29 of said Act.
