Whereas, It appears to the Government that a total Area of 5.23.00 hectares of land is required in the Solanguruni Village (Reach II) in Madurai South Taluk (as applicable) in Madurai District For a public purpose namely, in Nilaiyur Channel Extension upto Kambikudi Scheme.

Now therefore, a declaration is made herby that piece of land measuring 5.23.00 hectares is under acquisition for the above said project in the Solanguruni Village (Reach II) in Madurai South Taluk (as applicable) in Madurai District

No family is affected and displaced due to this Land acquisition. Hence Rehabilitation and resettlement compensation is not provided to anyone.
