The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the center registration schedule for the March-April 2026 Public Examinations. The exams are likely to commence from the first week of April 2026. The examination centers will be fixed at Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, Government/Government-aided schools, private schools/colleges and institutions affiliated with CBSE/ICSE/State Boards/Universities, as per the Examination By-laws of NIOS. Principals/Heads of Schools and Colleges are requested to apply online for examination centres on the NIOS website, URL: https://exams.nios.ac.in. The Bank Undertaking Proforma has to be filled up and uploaded at the given link. The original Centre Acceptance Forms along with the Bank Undertaking, complete in all aspects, are required to be submitted immediately to the NIOS Regional Centre, Pune. The portal will remain open for online submission of applications from December 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. Previously registered schools and colleges must provide their consent, with the option to update details and upload a fresh, correct Bank Undertaking. The next NIOS Public (Theory) Examination for Secondary and Senior Secondary
courses for March–April 2026 is likely to commence w.e.f. the first week of April
2026. The examination centres shall be fixed at Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya
Vidyalayas, Government/Government-aided schools, private schools/colleges and
institutions affiliated with CBSE/ICSE/State Boards/Universities, as per the
Examination By-laws of NIOS.
In view of this, Principals/Heads of Schools and Colleges are requested to apply
online for examination centres on the NIOS website. The URL for exam centre
registration is https://exams.nios.ac.in. The norms for exam centres are available
on the website. The Bank Undertaking Proforma has to be filled up and uploaded at
the given link. The original Centre Acceptance Forms along with the Bank
Undertaking, complete in all aspects, are required to be submitted immediately to
the NIOS Regional Centre, Pune. The portal will remain open for online submission
of applications from 01.12.2025 to 31.12.2025.
Schools and Colleges already registered previously are required to give their
consent, with the option to update their details and upload a fresh, correct Bank
Undertaking. The examination centres shall be fixed by NIOS as per existing norms
at the time of fixation and this does not grant any right or priority to any school or
institution at this stage.
