S.O. 2056(E).— In supersession of this Ministry’s Notification No. 2(1)/2017-Pers.I (Pt.)
dated 11th October 2023 published in the Gazette of India vide S.O. 4491(E) on 12th October 2023; and
Notification No. 2(1)/2017-Pers.I (Pt.) dated 26th December 2023 published in the Gazette of India vide
S.O. 253(E) on 18th January 2024 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section
69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000) read with rule 3 of the Information
Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking for Access of Information by Public) Rules, 2009,
the Central Government hereby authorises and designates:
(a) Shri Amitesh Kumar Sinha, IRAS(1997), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and
Information Technology, Government of India, Electronics Niketan, 6 Central Government
Offices Complex, New Delhi - 110003, as the Designated Officer for the purpose of the said
rules.
(b) Shri Sushil Pal, ICAS(1999), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information
Technology, Government of India, Electronics Niketan, 6 Central Government Offices
Complex, New Delhi - 110003, as the Designated Officer for the purpose of the said rules
