December, 2013 and guidelines of Compr hensive lnspection Programme for institutes
conducting post sea competency courses vide DGS Order No.23 of 2Ot4 dated 29th

Attention is invited to the notificat dated 5.10.15 [F.No. No.TR/Cirl6161/20t2_|]
informing the constitution of study group reviewing the CIP checklist for pre-sea training
institutes. The study Group has reviewed the same and the process of revising and modifying
the assessment checklist, is in the final stage.

In view of the above, all the ap maritime training institutes and the approved
concerned Recognized Organizations are i that the CIP for the year 2016 shall be on the
basis of revised checklist and instructions the , which will be issued shortly.
