Introduction Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), Hyderabad Office invites sealed bids from eligible and reputed manufacturers or their authorized distributors/suppliers for the supply of 20-litre packaged drinking water cans for office use on an as-and-when-required basis. 2. Tender Details • Name of Work: Supply of 20-Litre Packaged Drinking Water Cans • Tender Type: Open Tender • Contract Period: 1 Year (extendable by 1 additional year based on satisfactory performance) • Estimated Monthly Requirement: 700–750 cans (indicative) • Tender Issue Date: 18 May 2026 • Last Date for Submission: 08 June 2026 • Proposed Start Date: 01 July 2026 • You are requested to submit the bids in a sealed cover to be addressed to the Chief General Manager (GA & HR), IRDAI, Hyderabad duly superscribing thereon ‘Quotation for Supply of 20-Litre Packaged Drinking Water Cans/Jars for one year at IRDAI Head Office’. • The sealed cover has to be dropped in the drop box placed at the Reception Counter, 1st Floor in the Office of IRDAI at Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, Sy No. 115/1, Financial District, Nanakramguda, Gachibowli, Hyderabad – 500032. • Quotation must be received on or before 08.06.2026. Quotations received after the due date shall not be considered. • Quotations received through email shall not be accepted. • The quotations will be opened on the next working day i.e. 09.06.2026 at 11:00 hrs at the above address. 3. Eligibility Criteria (I) Eligibility Criteria: Bidders who fulfil the following requirements shall be eligible to apply: -a) The Bidders should have satisfactorily carried out Supply of Packaged Drinking Water in 20 Litres Jars/Cans for Banks, Insurance companies, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Multi-National Companies (MNCs) etc. during the last 03 (three) financial years with the experience of minimum total Supply of at least 500 jars per month at one place or 250 jars at two places. b) The Bidders shall have their unit / Administrative office based in Hyderabad. c) Average annual turnover of the Bidder during last 03 (three) years ending March 31, 2026 should be at least Rs. 5 lakhs. d) The Bidder should submit ISO certification / BIS licensee for manufacture of supply packaged drinking water (copy of valid license to be submitted). e) Either reputed manufacturers such as Bisleri, Kinley, Oxyrich, Mount Kailash, Bailley, Aquafina, Tata or its authorized distributors/agency/suppliers/dealers would be eligible to bid for supplying packaged drinking water jars of 20 litres. For determining L1 the price bids/quotation of Bisleri, Kinley, Oxyrich, Mount Kailash, Bailey, Aquafina or Tata only shall be considered and not of any other brand. Credentials: The Bidder should also submit the following information along with the bid: • Information desired regarding eligibility criteria as per format given in Annexure-I • Company's profile & Bank's NEFT details of the company/contractor/firm etc. • Name & address of the clients for whom the jobs were executed as per format given in Annexure-II. • Financial Bid as per Annexure III • Undertaking as per Annexure IV (III) Instructions for Filling & Submission of Tender • The tender amount is to be inserted in words as well as in figure in the space provided as per Annexure III, in case any discrepancy in the price written in words and figures, the price written in the words shall be considered as correct amount. • Rates quoted in the tender shall be inclusive of Labour, all taxes (with bifurcation of GST amount) Transportation etc. 4. Scope of Work (Quantity required (approx) 750 Jars of 20 litres capacity on monthly basis) a) Location o The bidder shall have a registered office within Hyderabad. o A valid Government-issued address proof in support of the registered office address shall be enclosed with the bid. b) Quality and Standards o The water shall strictly conform to Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) specifications for packaged drinking water.o The water supplied shall be hygienic, safe for human consumption, and suitable for use in standard water dispensers. o Either reputed manufacturers such as Bisleri, Kinley, Oxyrich, Mount Kailash, Bailley, Aquafina, Tata or its authorized distributors/agency/suppliers/dealers would be eligible to bid for supplying packaged drinking water jars of 20 litres. For determining L1 the price bids/quotation of Bisleri, Kinley, Oxyrich, Mount Kailash, Bailey, Aquafina or Tata only shall be considered and not of any other brand. c) Packaging Requirements o Water shall be supplied in 20-litre reusable, food-grade cans. o Cans shall be clean, transparent/semi-transparent, free from cracks, leakage, odour, or visible contamination. o Each can shall be properly sealed to prevent tampering and contamination. d) Supply and Delivery o The vendor shall supply water cans as per actual requirement, based on verbal/email/online instructions issued by the Authority. o Delivery shall be made at the designated office premises at below mentioned address. o The vendor shall ensure timely and uninterrupted delivery of water cans in the quantities specified by the office, on a daily or alternate-day basis, so as to avoid any disruption in the availability of drinking water. o If the supplier fails to supply the water jars in the stipulated time or if the quality of the water is not as per the approved / required norms, IRDAI shall be free to make necessary arrangements to the procurement of water jars from other sources at contractor's risk. The same shall be recovered from their payment. e) Delivery Address: Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India Sy No. 115/1, Financial District, Nanakramguda, Gachibowli, Hyderabad – 500032 f) Quantity and Consumption o The estimated consumption in the bid is indicative and subject to variation. o Billing shall be done only for the actual number of water cans supplied and consumed, as certified by the authorized office representative. g) Replacement and Rejection o Any water can/jar found to be leaking, damaged, expired, unsealed, or of substandard quality shall be replaced immediately at no extra cost. o The Authority reserves the right to reject any supply not meeting the prescribed quality standards.h) Compliance and Statutory Requirements The vendor shall comply with all applicable statutory requirements, including but not limited to: o BIS certification o FSSAI registration/licence o Applicable GST laws o Local municipal and health regulations i) Service Level Requirements o The vendor shall maintain consistent quality throughout the contract period. o Any complaint regarding quality or supply shall be attended to promptly, preferably within the same working day. j) Contract Period The contract shall be valid for the period specified in the bid, unless extended or terminated as per terms and conditions. k) General Conditions o The office reserves the right to inspect the product quality at any time during the contract period. o Repeated instances of poor quality or non-compliance may lead to termination of the contract. o No security deposit for usage of cans will be given by IRDAI. Collection/return/transportation of empty cans is in the scope of successful bidder.
