S.O. 3642(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by Sub Section 4(b) of Section 3 of National Jute Board
Act, 2008 (No.12 of 2009) and in continuation to the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of
Textiles S.O.152(E) published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-section (ii) dated
11.01.2024, Government of India hereby nominate the following two members of Lok Sabha to serve as member in
the National Jute Board for a period of two years from the date of Notification:-
(i) Shri Saumitra Khan, Member of Parliament, (Lok Sabha).
(ii) Prof. Sougata Ray, Member of Parliament, (Lok Sabha).
