New Delhi, the 14th August, 2026
S.O. 4510(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 4 of the Offshore
Areas Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 2002 (17 of 2003) and in supersession of the
notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Mines, published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub- Section (ii), vide S.O. 5578(E), dated the 3rd December,
2025, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such suppression, the Central
Government hereby notifies Shri Kadam Sandeep Vasant, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Mines as
the administering authority for the purpose of the said Act.
