NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th May, 2026
G.S.R. 412(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section 1 (f) of Section 3 of the Major Port
Authorities Act, 2021 and in supersession of the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Ports, Shipping
& Waterways (PHRD Division) G.S.R. No. 217 (E) dated 24th March, 2023, the Central Government hereby appoints
Shri Shahir Khan, Working President, Mormugao Port & Railway Workers Union as Member representing the interests
of employees on the Board of Mormugao Port Authority with immediate effect. The appointment of Member of the
Board shall be subject to the provisions of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021. The appointment is valid till the date
of validity of check-off, or until the attainment of age of superannuation of the Members, or till further orders, whichever
is earliest.
