Subject: Observance of 'Swachhotsav' under Swachhata Pakhwada 2025
In alignment with the national campaign 'Swachhata Hi Seva'(SHS), observed annually
since 2017 to promote voluntarism and collective action for cleanliness, the Directorate General
of Shipping shall actively participate in the Swachhata Pakhwada-2O25. This initiative, jointly
spearheaded by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) and the Department of
Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS), Ministry of Jal Shakti, will be held from lTth September
to 2nd October 2025, culminating in the observance ofSwachh Bharat Diwas.
