The Dharti Aba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) is a Government of India initiative aimed at addressing infrastructural gaps in tribal-majority villages through inter-ministerial convergence. * **Electrification:** Providing electricity to every unelectrified household (HH) and unconnected public institutions (2.35 lakh) through the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) by the Ministry of Power, and solar power to unelectrified HH and public institutions not covered through the grid via the New Solar Power Scheme by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
* **Digital Connectivity:** Expansion of 4G/5G network coverage through the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF) under the Department of Communications, covering 5252 villages.
* **Health Infrastructure:** Strengthening health infrastructure through Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) with 1000 Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
* **Child Development:** Upgrading 8000 Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) (2000 new, 6000 upgraded) through Poshan 2.0/Saksham Anganwadi and ICDS by the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

Roopkumari Choudhary the Union Minister of State For Tribal Affairs Shri Durgadas Uikey informed Lok
Sabha today that Dharti Aba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) aims to saturate the existing gaps
in critical infrastruture in tribal-majority villages. A key feature of the mission is its inter-ministerial
convergence, where 17 Ministries of the Government of India will unite for the welfare of tribal communities
through 25 focus interventions. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs will serve as the nodal agency, coordinating
with Central Ministries for planning, implementation, and monitoring.
In order to promote digital inclusion and electrification of tribal villages the following schemes from three
