F. No. 13(470)/UD/LB-1/MCD Elections/2022/DDLB/35-40.—In continuation of the notification No.
13(470)/UD/LB-1/MCD Elections/2022/DDLB/18-24 dated 05/01/2023, the Lt. Governor of National Capital
Territory of Delhi is pleased to convene the meeting of the newly constituted Municipal Corporation of Delhi on
24.01.2023 at 11.00 a.m. at Aruna Asaf Ali Sabhagar, 4th floor, ‘A’ block, Dr. S.P. Mukherjee Civic Centre, J. L. N.
Marg, New Delhi for oath or affirmation as per section 32 of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957. The
Municipal Secretary, MCD will issue the required notice in this behalf.
Further, the newly constituted Corporation will proceed to elect the Mayor, as required by section 35 of the
Act. The Mayor so elected will then assume the chair and proceed to conduct the election of the Deputy Mayor and
six members of the Standing Committee as required under section 35(1) and 45(1)(i) of the Act respectively.
