Kolkata, the 25th July, 2025
S.O. 3533(E).— This has reference to Order of even number dated 20.05.2025 issued in exercise of power
conferred under Clause 6(1) (iii) & Clause 5 of the Jute and Jute Textiles Control Order, 2016 an partially modified vide
Order of even number dated 16.06.2025, permitting raw jute balers traders/dealers/agencies/stockists and those who
have not applied for registration in this office to hold the stocks of raw jute upto a maximum quantity of 500 quintals,
100 quintals and 500 kilogram respectively and Jute Mills / Manufacturing units of Jute Goods from raw jute to hold
the stocks of raw jute upto a maximum quantity of 45-days' consumption.
After considering the current market scenario of raw jute, I, Moloy Chandan Chakrabortty, Jute Commissioner
hereby withdraw the said Order dated 20.05.2025 and modification dated16.06.2025 with immediate effect.
