(a) whether the Government has achieved the objectives for which
the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Daushalya Yojana (DDU-
GKY) was launched, if so, the details thereof;
(b) the total number of youths trained and placed during the last
three years and the current year, State and district-wise;
(c) whether the Government has completely utilised the funds
allocated for the DDU-GKY during the said period, if so, the
details thereof, State and district-wise; and
(d) the minimum employment/placement rate mandated vis-a-vis
the actual placement rate thereunder during the said period,

(a) Yes, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-
GKY) has achieved its objectives. Under DDU-GKY, a total of
17,50,784 candidates have been trained and a total of
11,48,247 candidates have been placed since inception till June
2025.
(b) The State-wise details of youth trained and placed during the last
three years and current year are given at Annexure-I.
(c) DDU-GKY is a demand driven scheme, hence, funds are not
allocated State/UT-wise. However, details of funds allocated under
the scheme during the last 3 years and current year till June 2025 is
given as under:
