SHRI V K SREEKANDAN Will the Minister of NEW AND RENEWABLE ENERGY be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Country has added 31.25 gigawatt renewable energy during the current financial year which was short of the target; (b) if so, the details and the reasons therefor; (c) the total number of rooftop solar systems approved for the State of Kerala during the current financial year; (d) whether it is a fact that the solar energy concept is not gaining in the country at the moment since the cost of solar modules is too high; and (e) if so, the steps taken by the Government to bring down the cost of the module which is the heart of any solar energy system?
