Will the Minister of SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Ministry has identified any gaps in awareness, adoption, or
access to technologies developed by the Council of Scientific and
Industrial Research (CSIR) in the Erode Lok Sabha Constituency of
Tamil Nadu, if so, the details thereof, categorised by sector (such as
MSME's, textiles, food processing, agriculture, etc.);
(b) whether the Ministry proposes to establish a Regional Innovation
Outreach Hub or Satellite Facilitation Centre in Erode under the CSIR–
HARIT (Harnessing Appropriate Rural Interventions and Technologies)
programme to promote grassroots awareness, field deployment and
entrepreneurial uptake of science-led solutions, if so, the details
thereof; and
(c) whether a national dashboard or monitoring mechanism exists to track
district-wise adoption and outcomes of CSIR technologies, if so,
whether data related to Erode can be made publicly accessible and if
so, the details thereof?

(a) Technologies and products developed by CSIR laboratories are given
the utmost popularity in order to reach to the common man. Variousplatforms such as Social and Print media, Expos, Seminars and
State/National/International Exhibitions, Industry Meet, Special
campaigns - One Week One lab (OWOL) campaign and One Week One
Theme (OWOT) campaign are used to popularise the technologies &
products of CSIR at the laboratory level as well as at Headquarters
level for Nation-wide reach of the technologies. Further, dedicated
Business Development Groups (BDGs) are functioning at the laboratory
level as well as at the Headquarters level for facilitating the
adoption/access of the technologies and products developed by CSIR.
(b)&(c) CSIR reports the quantifiable outputs from its constituents on the
DARPAN portal, which is a Dashboard for Analytical Review of Projects
Across the Nation, which can be accessed at
https://dsir.dashboard.nic.in. These include Technologies (Developed
