SHRI MAGUNTA SREENIVASULU REDDY: Will the Minister of HEAVY INDUSTRIES be pleased to state: (a) the details regarding the list of new Advanced Centres of Excellence under Scheme for Enhancement of Competitiveness in the Indian Capital Goods Sector (SECICGS) proposed, sanctioned and presently functional in the country, State-wise, especially in Andhra Pradesh; (b) the details regarding the list of Common engineering facility centres proposed, sanctioned and presently functional in the country, State-wise, especially in Andhra Pradesh; (c) the details regarding the list of certification centres proposed, sanctioned and presently functional in the country, State-wise, especially in Andhra Pradesh; (d) the details regarding the list of Industry accelerators proposed, sanctioned and presently functional in the country, State-wise, especially in Andhra Pradesh; (e) the details regarding the total number of individuals skilled to level 6 and qualification packages granted by the Government during the last five years in the country, State-wise, especially in Andhra Pradesh; and (f) the details regarding total amount of funding allocated, released and utilised by such components of SECICGS during the last five years, State and component-wise and in Andhra Pradesh? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR HEAVY INDUSTRIES (SHRI BHUPATHIRAJU SRINIVASA VARMA) (a): Scheme for Enhancement of Competitiveness in the Indian Capital Goods Sector- Phase-II is a pan India demand driven Scheme under which proposals are submitted by Project Implementing Organizations (PIOs) in association with Industry Partner(s) from any UT/ State of the country. Total 29 projects with project cost of Rs. 891.37 crores and budgetary support of Rs. 714.64 crore have been sanctioned so far.
