GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES RAJYA SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 2657 TO BE ANSWERED ON: 16.03.2026 ALLOCATION FOR SME GROWTH FUND AND SELF RELIANCE FUND 2657. SHRI NEERAJ SHEKHAR: Will the Minister of MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES be pleased to state: (a) whether as per the Union Budget 2026-27 ₹10,000 crore SME Growth Fund and an additional ₹2,000 crore to the Self-Reliant India has been created to empower small businesses and ensuring access, risk capital; (b) if so, the details thereof; and (c) the manner in which this fund would be utilized during 2026-27? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (SUSHRI SHOBHA KARANDLAJE) (a) to (c): In the Union Budget 2026-27, Government has announced a dedicated ₹10,000 crore SME Growth Fund to create future Champions, incentivizing enterprises based on select criteria. The Government has also announced to top up the Self-Reliant India Fund set up in 2021, with ₹2,000 crore to continue support to micro enterprises and maintain their access to risk capital. Modalities of these announcements are being worked out. ****
