REGARDING ALLOCATION OF FUNDS UNDER PMKVY
(a) Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is implementing its
flagship scheme Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), since 2015, for
imparting skill development training through Short-Term Training (STT) and up-skilling
and re-skilling through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to youth across the
country. The district wise details of funds disbursed for the implementation of PMKVY
in the State of Maharashtra during the last five financial years (2020-21 to 2024-25)
are given at Annexure I.
(b) The district wise details of skill sectors and skill development centres under
PMKVY in the State of Maharashtra particularly in Parbhani Lok Sabha Constituency
(it consist two districts namely Parbhani and Jalna) are given at Annexure II (which
are available on Ministry’s website at https://msde.gov.in/en/useful-links/parl-
ques/loksabha) and Annexure III respectively.
(c) Under PMKVY, since 2015 to 30.06.2025, 13,31,385 and 10,39,749 candidates
have been trained and certified respectively in Maharashtra. Out of which, 44,806 and
33,595 candidates have been trained and certified respectively in the Parbhani Lok
Sabha Constituency.
(d) & (e) Placements were tracked under Short Term Training (STT) component
of PMKVY in the first three versions of the scheme which is PMKVY 1.0, PMKVY 2.0
and PMKVY 3.0 implemented from FY 2015-16 to FY 2021-22. The district wise
number of candidates reported placed under PMKVY (2.0 and 3.0) in Maharashtra are
given at Annexure IV.
Under PMKVY 4.0 (2022-26), the focus is to empower the trained candidates to
choose their varied career path and are suitably oriented. Further, to enable the
opportunities for employment, Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) platform has been
launched as a one-stop platform that integrates skilling, education, employment, and
entrepreneurship ecosystems to provide a lifelong array of services targeting a wide
range of stakeholders. The details of the trained candidates are available on SIDH
portal for connecting with potential employers. Further, candidates can have access to
jobs and apprenticeship opportunities through the platform. Additionally, On-Job-
Training (OJT) has been made an inherent component of the PMKVY. To ensure
active interaction between employers and candidates, Rozgar Melas are organized
