Shri Sudama Prasad: Will the Minister of FISHERIES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND DAIRYING be pleased to state: (a) the total funds sanctioned and actually released directly by the Government to fisherfolk beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) during the last four financial years, year-wise, State/UT-wise; (b) the details of breakup of beneficiaries category-wise covered and funds disbursedspecifically to SC, ST and women fisherfolk and number of beneficiaries and amount disbursed; and (c) the details of assistance provided by the Government to beneficiaries as (direct cash transfers, inputs, subsidies, training, group support and amounts against each sub-heads? ANSWER MINISTER OF FISHERIES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND DAIRYING (SHRI RAJIV RANJAN SINGH ALIAS LALAN SINGH) (a) to (c) : The Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying during the last four financial years (2021-22 to 2024-25) has accorded approvals to the fisheries and aquaculture development proposals of various State Governments, Union Territories and other implementing agencies at a total cost of Rs.18,397.37 crore with the central share of Rs. 8124.84 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY). Out of the total approved allocation under PMMSY, Rs.4,977.28 crore has been released to the State Governments/UTs and other implementing agencies and this includes an amount of Rs. 553.40 crore released for Schedule Caste beneficiaries and Rs. 519.21 crore for Schedule Tribe beneficiaries. Under the scheme, during last four years (2021-22 to 2024-25), fisheries development proposals with the central outlay of Rs. 1302.20 crore have been sanctioned for covering a total 95426 women beneficiaries across various states/UTs.
