Shri Shashank Mani: Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state: (a) the details of funds allocated under the Khelo India Mission in the Union Budget 2026–27; (b) the details of sports infrastructure projects and talent development programmes proposed under the Mission during the current financial year, State/UT-wise; (c) whether any projects have been sanctioned for Uttar Pradesh, particularly eastern Uttar Pradesh, under the said Mission; and (d) if so, the details thereof, including the funds allocated and the present status of its implementation? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF YOUTH AFFAIRS & SPORTS [ DR. MANSUKH MANDAVIYA ] (a) to (d) The Khelo India Mission was announced in the Union Budget 2026–27. The proposal for the Khelo India Scheme is presently under consideration for approval of the Cabinet. An amount of ₹924.35 crore has been provided under the Khelo India Scheme at the Budget Estimates (B.E.) stage for the financial year 2026– 27. ***** Page 1 of 1
