The details of capacity addition under various renewable energy sources since the year 2023-24 to 31.07.2026, are given at Annexure I. The State/UT wise details of Central Financial Assistance (CFA) released under the major renewable energy schemes/ programmes being implemented by the MNRE such as PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSG: MBY), since the year 2023-24 to 10.08.2026 and PM Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM), since the year 2023-24 to 31.07.2026, are given at Annexure II. The PMSG: MBY and PM KUSUM both schemes are demand-driven schemes with PMSG: MBY beneficiaries being mainly individual household families and PM KUSUM beneficiaries being mainly individual farmer families. Since the launch of these schemes, 51,27,843 households have been benefitted under the PMSG: MBY as on 10.08.2026 and 28,38,970 irrigation pumps have been solarised under Component-B and component-C of the PM KUSUM Scheme as on 31.7.2026. State/UT-wise details are given at Annexure-III. The schemes for decentralised use of solar energy such as PMSG: MBY, PM-KUSUM, etc. are being reviewed by MNRE through regular monitoring of the progress of the scheme at different levels including with states, DISCOMs, Banks, other stakeholders, etc. Feedback of different stakeholders is also being taken to improve the implementation process by taking suitable measures. In addition, regional review meetings are being conducted from time to time. Ministry is promoting scheme for decentralised use of solar energy so that regions with relatively low renewable energy potential including Bihar and Seemanchal region can also get benefits of the renewable energy. Provision of higher CFA has been made under both PMSG: MBY and PM KUSUM for north-east states, hilly states/UTs and Island UTs which are having relatively low renewable energy potential.Annexure I referred to in reply to parts (a) to (c) of Lok Sabha Starred Question No. 348 to be answered on 12.08.2026 regarding Assessment of Progress of PM-SGMBY and PM-KUSUM The State/UT wise details of capacity addition under major renewable energy schemes/ programmes being implemented by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) since the year 2023-24 to date i.e. 31.07.2026 (in MW) Solar Power Bio-Power RTS Off-grid Biomass Waste (includin Hybrid Biomass Waste Small STATES / Ground Solar/ Wind Power/ to S.
