(a) the number of micro food processing enterprises receiving assistance under the Pradhan
Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme,
district-wise in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh at present by July 2025
and the manner in which the said figure compares with the targets set for Uttar Pradesh
and Madhya Pradesh for the period of the scheme;
(b) the number of micro food processing enterprises owned by OBC/SC/ST therein;
(c) whether there are significant variations in the implementation and utilisation of the said
scheme across different districts of the said States;
(d) if so, the names of the districts lagging behind and the specific measures being taken to
address the said disparities;
(e) the manner in which the "One District One Product" (ODOP) approach has been
implemented in the said States thereunder; and
(f) the estimated direct and indirect employment generated so far through the said Scheme
in the said States?

(a): The details of loan sanctioned to micro food processing enterprises for credit linked
subsidy under the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises
(PMFME) scheme for the State of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, as on July
2025 are as under:

(c) & (d): The Scheme is demand driven and is implemented through States/ UTs. There is no
district-wise allocation of funds and targets by the Ministry. The utilisation of funds is
completely dependent on the performance of States/ UTs and the number of applicants
interested for availing support under the PMFME Scheme. However, regular meetings are
conducted with States/ UTs, lending banks and other stakeholders to cover all the districts in
the respective States/ UTs under the scheme.
(e): PMFME Scheme primarily adopts One District One Product (ODOP) approach to reap
the benefit of scale in terms of procurement of inputs, availing common services and marketing
of products. ODOP has been approved for 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, 36 districts of
Maharashtra and 52 districts of Madhya Pradesh.
(f): 53,454, 73,140 and 29,730 direct and indirect employment opportunities have been
generated under the PMFME Scheme in the State of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Madhya
Pradesh respectively till 31st July 2025.
