(a) the present status of Ayurswasthya Yojana in the Country;
(b) whether the Government has conducted any review of the same and if so, the details
thereof;
(c) whether there are two components under the scheme and whether there is any proposal to
include additional components and if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the details of funds sanctioned, released and spent separately under Public Health
Initiatives (PHI) and Centres of Excellency (CoE) components for Maharashtra under
Ayurswasthya Yojana during the last five years, year-wise along with the details of Ratnagiri-
Sindhudurg Parliamentary Constituency?

(a) The Ministry of Ayush is implementing a Central Sector Scheme namely Ayurswasthya
Yojana since 2021-22 having 02 components namely i) Ayush and Public Health and ii)
Centre of Excellence (CoE). The Scheme is valid upto March, 2026.
(b) The Quality Council of India (QCI) has conducted a ‘Third-Party Evaluation of the
Ayurswasthya Yojana’. In its evaluation report, QCI has concluded that the scheme fits
perfectly with India's national goals of providing affordable, accessible healthcare for all
citizens under the vision of Viksit Bharat and it is strongly recommended that the scheme
should continue to further enhance healthcare access and outcomes for everyone.(c) Yes, there are two components under the scheme namely i) Ayush and Public Health and
ii) Centre of Excellence (CoE). At present, there is no proposal to include any additional
component under the scheme.
(d) Ayurswasthya Yojana is a Central Sector Scheme being implemented across the country,
and there is no provision for State/UT-wise allocation of funds. However, the project-wise
details of funds sanctioned and released separately under the Ayush and Public Health and
Centre of Excellence (CoE) components for Maharashtra under Ayurswasthya Yojana during
the last five years, year-wise, are placed at Annexure.
