AYUSH Dispensaries and Wellness Centres
1002. Shri Murasoli S:
Will the Minister of AYUSH be pleased to state:
(a) the number of AYUSH dispensaries and wellness centres functional in Thanjavur
Parliamentary Constituency under the Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centre scheme
during the last five years;
(b) the funds allocated and disbursed for AYUSH infrastructure in the district during the same
period;
(c) whether any proposal exists to establish a dedicated Siddha research or treatment facility
in Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) During the last five years, as reported by State Government of Tamil Nadu, a total of
24 Ayush dispensaries / Ayush Health and Wellness Centres (Ayush) now renamed as
Ayushman Arogya Mandir (Ayush) are functional in Thanjavur Parliamentary Constituency.
(b) As reported by State Government, a total amount of Rs. 120.00 lakhs has been allocated
for AYUSH infrastructure.
(c) No such proposal.
(d) Question does not arise.
