Will the Minister of AYUSH be pleased to state:
(a) the number of AYUSH Health and Wellness Centres and Hospitals established in Andhra
Pradesh, district-wise, especially in Konaseema district;
(b) the funds allocated, released, utilized for establishing and operationalizing such Centres
and Hospitals in Andhra Pradesh since inception, year and district-wise, especially in
Konaseema district;
(c) the number of professionals currently employed at these Centres and Hospitals in Andhra
Pradesh, district-wise, especially in Konaseema district;
(d) whether the Government has any proposal to establish additional AYUSH Wellness
Centres or a dedicated AYUSH Hospital in Konaseema district and if so, the details thereof
including location, capacity, budget allocation and expected timeline;
(e) whether any proposals from the Government of Andhra Pradesh are pending
consideration with his Ministry for setting up or upgrading AYUSH Health and Wellness
Centres in the State and if so, the details thereof; and
(f) whether any assessment has been conducted on demand for AYUSH services in
Konaseema and if so, the details thereof along with steps taken to enhance access in this
regard?

(a) As per the proposals received from the State Government of Andhra Pradesh through State
Annual Action Plans (SAAPs), Ministry of Ayush has approved 126 Ayush Health andWellness Centres now known as Ayushman Arogya Mandir (Ayush) [AAM (Ayush)],
including 04 AAM (Ayush) in Konaseema district. The District-wise status of AAM (Ayush)
in Andhra Pradesh is furnished at Annexure-I.
(b) As reported by the State Government, an amount of Rs. 1864.748 lakhs has been
allocated/released during the financial years 2019-20, 2020-21 & 2024-25 for
operationalisation Ayush AAM (Ayush) in different districts including Konaseema district
and against which an expenditure/utilization of Rs. 1499.913 lakhs has been reported by the
State.
(c) The District-wise status of deployed manpower/professionals at these AAM (Ayush)
including in Konaseema district is furnished at Annexure-II.
(d) No.

(f) State Government has informed that an assessment of Ayush infrastructure and service
delivery requirements has been conducted in Konaseema District. Based on the said
assessment, upgradation of 06 Ayush dispensaries in Konaseema District has been approved
for construction new building in place of existing dilapidated ones under NAM in the SAAP
