GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF AYUSH LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 1014 ANSWERED ON 24.07.2026 AYUSH Hospitals and Health Institutions in Warangal 1014. Dr. Kadiyam Kavya: Will the Minister of AYUSH be pleased to state: (a) the details of AYUSH hospitals, dispensaries, Health and Wellness Centres/Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs) and other AYUSH institutions functioning in Warangal district of Telangana established with Central Assistance along with the details of financial assistance sanctioned and released during the last three years; (b) the steps taken by the Government to strengthen AYUSH infrastructure and promote AYUSH systems of medicine in the said district; and (c) the measures taken by the Government to integrate AYUSH services with the mainstream public healthcare system, including co-location of AYUSH facilities in Government hospitals and Health and Wellness Centres/Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs) in the district? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE (IC) OF THE MINISTRY OF AYUSH (SHRI PRATAPRAO JADHAV) (a) The details of supported Ayush facilities in Warangal district of Telangana along with status of financial assistance provided under Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National Ayush Mission (NAM) is furnished at Annexure. (b) Under NAM, 09 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (Ayush) have been supported for renovation of buildings, minor repairs, water & toilet facilities and permanent Yoga sheds etc. Further, additional block has been built at Government Ayurveda Hospital. 1(c) To integrate Ayush services with the mainstream public healthcare system, Government of India has adopted a strategy of Co-location of Ayush facilities at Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Community Health Centres (CHCs) and District Hospitals (DHs), thus enabling the choice to the patients for different systems of medicines under a single window. The engagement of Ayush doctors/ paramedics and their training is supported by the MoH&FW under National Health Mission (NHM), while the support for Ayush infrastructure, equipment/furniture and medicines are provided by the Ministry of Ayush under NAM as shared responsibilities. As reported by State Government of Telangana, 11 co-located Ayush facilities are functional in Government Hospitals and one each Medical Officer, Pharmacist & Sweeper cum Scavenger have been deployed at these facilities from Ayush Department, Government of Telangana. Additionally, 02 Government Ayush Dispensaries are co-located with District Hospitals and 01 Government Ayush Dispensary with a Primary Health Centre.
