AYUSH Mobile Health Units in Rajasthan

Will the Minister of AYUSH be pleased to state:
(a) whether there is any proposal to ensure AYUSH mobile health units in the rural areas of
Rajasthan and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether public awareness camps in this regard are being organized by the Government in
Rajasthan and if so, the details thereof, district-wise including Dausa;
(c) whether there is a proposal for setting up panchkarma kendra in Rajasthan and if so, the
details thereof, district-wise including Dausa;
(d) whether the Government has formulated any specific programme to train the AYUSH
doctors in Rajasthan and if so, the details thereof;
(e) whether the Government has formulated any scheme to boost AYUSH based tourism in
Rajasthan and if so, the details thereof; and
(f) whether the Government is contemplating to open an AYUSH pharmacy college in
Dausa district of Rajasthan and if so, the details thereof?
ANSWER

(a) As per the proposal received from the State Government of Rajasthan through their
State Annual Action Plan for the year 2025-26, 14 Ayush mobile medical unit have
been supported.
(b) Public health being a State subject, the primary responsibility to organize public
awareness camps lies with respective State Government. However, under NAM,
consolidate financial assistance has been provided to State Government of Rajasthan for
conducting different types of awareness camps in different districts of State through
BCC/IEC activities.(c) Public health being a State subject, the primary responsibility for setting up
Panchkarma kendra in Rajasthan lies with respective State Government. Further, as
reported by State Government of Rajasthan, 82 Ayurveda hospitals are providing
Panchkarma facility and detail of those facilities are enclosed as Annexure.
(d) Under NAM, as per the proposals submitted by the State Government of Rajasthan,
they have been supported for providing training related activities to Ayush doctors.
Further, as reported by the State Government, the Ayush doctors who are working as
Community Health Officers at Ayushman Arogya Mandir (Ayush) have been provided
refresher training time to time to enhance their skill and capacity building.
(e) No such scheme is available. However, under NAM, State Government of Rajasthan
may avail financial assistance by submitting a suitable proposal for any new
innovative/creative activity to boost AYUSH based tourism in Rajasthan.
(f) Public health being a state subject, opening of Ayush pharmacy college in Dausa
district of Rajasthan comes under the purview of respective State Government.
