**Summary:**
In response to Lok Sabha Starred Question No. 93, the Ministry of AYUSH reports on the Ayush Suraksha Portal, launched on May 30, 2025, to enhance regulatory transparency in the AYUSH sector. The portal serves as a centralized dashboard for real-time tracking of suspected Adverse Drug Reactions and Misleading Advertisements/Objectionable Advertisements, enabling prompt regulatory action and in-depth data analysis. Consumers and AYUSH healthcare professionals can report issues, while regulatory authorities monitor them. The National Pharmacovigilance Centre (NPvCC) and the Ministry of AYUSH review all complaints, promoting transparency and accountability.
As the portal was recently launched, only a few complaints have been received to date. The portal provides public visibility of reported cases. To promote effective utilization, structured training and awareness programs are being conducted regularly by pharmacovigilance centers across the country, including Chhattisgarh, for healthcare personnel and citizens.
Chhattisgarh has three functional Peripheral Pharmacovigilance Centres (PPvCs) under the pharmacovigilance program for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy (ASU&H) Drugs: Government Ayurveda College, Raipur (Ayurveda); Govt. Ayurveda College, Bilaspur (Ayurveda); and the Department of Homoeopathy, AIIMS, Raipur (Homoeopathy).

(a) the initiatives taken/implemented by the Government to enhance regulatory transparency
through the Ayush Suraksha Portal;
(b) whether any success has been noted recently that demonstrate the effectiveness of the said
portal in identifying and taking action against misleading advertisements;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the plans to expand the reach of the AYUSH Suraksha Portal among citizens and
professionals particularly in Chhattisgarh?

(a) Ministry of Ayush has developed an IT enabled online portal “Ayush Suraksha” and launched
the portal on 30th May 2025 to enhance regulatory transparency in the Ayush sector. The portal
features a centralized dashboard for real-time tracking of suspected Adverse Drug Reactions and
capturing of Misleading Advertisements/Objectionable Advertisements for prompt regulatory
action and in-depth data analysis.
The portal allows consumers, Ayush healthcare professionals to report and regulatory
authorities to monitor misleading advertisements, adverse drug reactions. All complaints on the
portal can be reviewed by National Pharmacovigilance Centre (NPvCC) and Ministry of Ayush,
thus promoting transparency and accountability in the regulatory framework.
(b) & (c) As the portal has been recently launched, till date only a few complaints have been
received on portal so far. The portal provides public visibility of the status of reported cases and
fostering trust in regulatory processes.
(d) To promote effective utilization of the portal, structured training and awareness programs are
being conducted regularly by pharmacovigilance centres across the country including
Chhattisgarh for healthcare personnel and citizens. These initiatives are designed to enhance
understanding of the portal’s features and encourage its widespread adoption among Ayush
healthcare professionals and the general public.
Under the pharmacovigilance program for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy
(ASU & H) Drugs, there are three functional Peripheral Pharmacovigilance Centres (PPvCs) in
