Will the Minister of AYUSH be pleased to state:
(a) the manner in which the Government has reviewed the healthcare needs of Moradabad
district, where access to specialised treatments such as Panchakarma Unani medicine and
naturopathy remains limited due to the absence of a fully functional AYUSH hospital;
(b) the support provided by the Government, in coordination with the State Government to
upgrade AYUSH infrastructure by ensuring deployment of trained personnel, availability of
treatment equipment, development of pharmacies and provision of facilities such as digital
health records; and
(c) the roadmap prepared by the Government for the establishment of a dedicated AYUSH
hospital in Moradabad district including the details of bed capacity, OPD and IPD services,
emergency care, medicine units and yoga-wellness centre facilities, so as to ensure improved
treatment services and to generate employment opportunities in the region?

(a) to (c) Public Health being a State subject, the primary responsibility to review the
healthcare needs of Moradabad district in terms of access to specialized treatments such as
Panchkarma, Unani medicine and naturopathy lies with respective State Government. As
reported by State Government of Uttar Pradesh, 12 Ayurvedic Hospitals (including One unit
of 25 bedded & two units of 15 bedded Hospitals), 01 Unani Hospital, 16 Homeopathic
Hospitals, 03 Yoga Wellness Centres, 03 Ayushman Aarogya Mandirs and 01 Homeopathic
Medical College are currently operational in Moradabad district. Doctors and medicines are
available in all the hospitals, and yoga sessions are conducted daily at the Yoga Wellness
Centres (YWC) and Ayush Health & Wellness Centers now known as Ayushman Arogya
Mandir (Ayush).
Under Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National Ayush Mission (NAM), as per the
proposals received from State Government through State Annual Action Plans (SAAPs), they
have been supported for upgradation of Ayush infrastructure including treatment equipment
1and deployment of skilled personnel. As informed by the State Government, Ayush
Intelligent Medicine Management System (AIMMS) for real time monitoring of patient and
