Shri Saumitra Khan: Will the Minister of AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ िष एवं िकसान क(cid:670)ाण मं(cid:361)ी be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government is aware that not all districts of West Bengal have beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana (PMKMY) under key schemes such as Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana(PKVY), PM-Kisan Maandhan Yojana and the scheme for promoting Farmer Producer Organization (FPOs); (b) if so, the reasons for uneven coverage across districts and the steps being taken to ensure equitable access and participation of farmers from all districts; (c) the number of farmer clusters formed and the area covered under PKVY in West Bengal, district-wise, especially in Bankura; (d) the number of registered FPOs in West Bengal, district-wise; and (e) the number of farmers enrolled and currently receiving pensions under the PM-KISAN Maandhan Yojana in West Bengal, district-wise? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ िष एवं िकसान क(cid:670)ाण रा(cid:475) मं(cid:361)ी (SHRI BHAGIRATH CHOUDHARY) (a) & (b): The Government of India is implementing various schemes for the welfare and income support of farmers including the Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY), Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana (PM-KMY) and the Formation and Promotion of 10,000 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO Scheme) across the country including West Bengal. PM-KMY is implemented in all 23 districts. PKVY is a cluster based scheme. Formation and Promotion of 10,000 FPO scheme is implemented in 22 districts as it is rural based collectivization of farmers.(c) : The details of number of clusters formed, area covered and farmers benefitted under PKVY in West Bengal since 2015-16 are given below: No. of Clusters Area (in ha) Total farmers 4091 78782.2 162634 District wise data of PKVY is not maintained centrally.
