Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY), Rashtriya Gokul Mission (RGM), National
Livestock Mission (NLM), Livestock Census and Integrated Sample Survey (LC & ISS),
Supporting Dairy Cooperatives & Farmer Producer Organizations (SDCFPO),
Entrepreneurship Development and Employment Generation (EDEG), Livestock Health
and Disease Control Programme (LHDCP), Dairy Processing and Infrastructure
Development Fund (DIDF) and National Programme for Dairy Development (NPDD)
scheme-wise ; and
(b) the details of quantum of funds released by the Union Government to the State

(a) and (b): The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of
India is implementing the following schemes and programme in the country including
in the State of Bihar for all round development of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and
Dairy Sectors:
i. Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY),
ii. Rashtriya Gokul Mission (RGM),
iii. National Livestock Mission (NLM),
iv. Livestock Census and Integrated Sample Survey Scheme (LC & ISS)
v. Supporting Dairy Cooperatives and Farmer Producer Organizations (SDCFPO)
vi. Livestock Health and Disease Control Programme (LHDCP).
vii. National Programme for Dairy Development (NPDD), and
viii. Dairy Processing and Infrastructure Development Fund (DIDF),The Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Sectors are showing substantial growth
in recent years. The policies and schemes/ programmes implemented by the Ministry
also accord paramount importance for promotion of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and
Dairy Sectors. The details of number of beneficiaries and quantum of funds released
by the Union Government to the State of Bihar for the of aforesaid schemes during the
