SHRI KARAN BHUSHAN SINGH: Will the Minister of TEXTILES वस्त्र मंत्री be pleased to state : (a) the details and number of beneficiary clusters under the Small Cluster Development Programme of National Handloom Development Programme in the State of Uttar Pradesh, district wise, during the last three years; (b) the details regarding amount of funds allocated and utilised for financial assistance to the weavers for exposure visits to other handloom pockets in Uttar Pradesh, district-wise, during the last three years; (c) the details and number of individuals worksheds and common worksheds that have been constructed and in process of construction in Uttar Pradesh, district-wise, in last three years; and (d) the details and number of application openings invited by the state directorate of Uttar Pradesh district-wise for the recruitment of textile designers in the last three years? उत्तर ANSWER वस्त्र मंत्री (श्री गिरििाज ग िंह) MINISTER OF TEXTILES (SHRI GIRIRAJ SINGH) (a) to (c): The Small Cluster Development Programme (SCDP), a component of National Handloom Development Programme (NHDP) provides need based financial support through various interventions like upgraded looms & accessories, construction of worksheds, solar lighting units, product & design development etc., across the country including State of Uttar Pradesh, based on the proposals received from States/UTs Government. On receipt of proposals from State Government of Uttar Pradesh, financial assistance of Rs.1,455.64 Lakh have been provided for 34 SCDPs covering 4,149 beneficiaries during last three years. District-wise no. of SCDPs assisted, beneficiary covered, funds allocated & utlised for exposure visit, no. of individual workshed constructed and in process of construction in the State of Uttar Pradesh during last three years is at Annexure-I.
