MANNA LAL RAWAT SHRI DILIP SAIKIA SHRI P P CHAUDHARY SHRI BHOJRAJ NAG SHRI CAPTAIN BRIJESH CHOWTA SHRI NABA CHARAN MAJHI SHRI RAJKUMAR CHAHAR Will the Minister of NEW AND RENEWABLE ENERGY be pleased to state: (a) the total number of households benefited under the Pradhan Mantri - Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (PM-SGMBY), State/UT-wise including Rajasthan and Karnataka particularly in Pali Lok Sabha constituency and Dakshin Kannada district; (b) the number of rooftop solar power installations completed so far and the amount of subsidy disbursed under the PM-SGMBY particularly in Pali Lok Sabha Constituency, Karnataka including Dakshin Kannada district; (c) the progress made in the implementation of the PM-SGMBY, State-wise along with the details of the top performing States; (d) the details of the estimated clean energy production and the corresponding reduction in carbon emissions during the implementation of PM-SGMBY; and (e) the progress made under the PM-SGMBY in Rajasthan and Karnataka including the number of rooftop solar plants installed, households benefited and the amount of subsidy disbursed in this regard, district-wise? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR NEW & RENEWABLE ENERGY AND POWER (SHRI SHRIPAD YESSO NAIK) (a) to (e) Since the launch of the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSG: MBY) in February 2024, a total of 22,65,521 RTS systems have been installed across the country, benefitting 28,24,518 households with the disbursement of Rs 16,061.12 crore as Central Financial Assistance (CFA) as on 30.01.2026. The state/UT-wise detail of progress made under the scheme, in order of the number of RTS systems installed, is given in Annexure I.A total of 9,987 RTS systems have been installed in both Pali and Jodhpur districts covering Pali Lok Sabha Constituency of Rajasthan, benefitting 10,181 households with CFA disbursement of Rs 71.62 crore as on 30.01.2026. In the state of Rajasthan, a total of 1,32,231 RTS systems have been installed, benefitting 1,36,187 households with CFA disbursement of Rs 925.12 crore as on 30.01.2026. The district- wise detail is given in Annexure II. Similarly, a total of 1,989 RTS systems have been installed in the Dakshin Kannada district of Karnataka, benefitting 2,251 households with CFA disbursement of Rs 14.37 crore as on 30.01.2026. In the state of Karnataka, a total of 15,763 RTS systems have been installed, benefitting 24,683 households with CFA disbursement of Rs 118.03 crore as on 30.01.2026. The district-wise detail is given in Annexure III.
