This is a response to Unstarred Question No. †2212, asked by SHRI JASWANTSINH SUMANBHAI BHABHOR, regarding the benefits of the proposed digital platform for the Forest Rights Act (FRA) in the Dahod Lok Sabha Constituency. The Minister of State for Tribal Affairs (SHRI DURGA DAS UIKEY) answered on 12/02/2026.
(a) The National Level FRA digital platform is in its initial stage. It will allow Forest Rights Committees to view claim statuses filed under the Forest Rights Act, 2006, and utilize aggregated data to access government scheme benefits.
(b) A separate field visit to the Dahod Lok Sabha Constituency is not under consideration by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA).
(c) No Scheduled Tribe (ST) students from the Dahod Lok Sabha Constituency received scholarships for higher studies abroad under the "National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) for ST students" scheme during the period 2023–26.

Will the Minister of TRIBAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) the benefits of the proposed National Forest Rights Act (FRA) Digital Platform for the Forest
Rights Committees falling under the Dahod Lok Sabha Constituency;
(b) whether similar verification and validation drives are also proposed to be undertaken in the
tribal blocks of the Dahod Lok Sabha constituency and if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the number of Scheduled Tribes students from the Dahod Lok Sabha Constituency who were
awarded scholarships for higher studies abroad during the period 2023–26 and the success rate in
the selection process?

(a): The development of National Level FRA digital platform is at initial stage. The Forest Rights
Committees can see the claim status filed under the Forest Rights Act, 2006. Further, the
aggregated data under this platform can be useful to avail the benefits of Government Scheme.
(b): A separate field visit to Dahod Lok Sabha Constituency is not under consideration in MoTA.
(c): No ST students from the Dahod Lok Sabha Constituency were awarded scholarships for
higher studies abroad under the scheme of "National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) for ST students"
during the period 2023–26.
