Parliament Question: Budgetary Allocation for DAY-NULM

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 954 TO BE ANSWERED ON FEBRUARY 05, 2026 BUDGETARY ALLOCATION FOR DAY-NULM NO. 954. SHRI KALIPADA SAREN KHERWAL: Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state: - (a) the details of the budgetary allocation made for the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana–National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) since its inception, year-wise; (b) the amount of funds (in rupees) released to the State Governments during each of the last five years, State-wise; and (c) the details of the physical progress achieved under the components “Social Mobilisation and Institution Development” and “Employment through Skills Training and Placement” during each of the last five years, State-wise? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS (SHRI TOKHAN SAHU) (a) : The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, MoHUA implemented Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY- NULM) in 2014 and it ended on 30th September, 2024. The details of the funds allocation made for DAY-NULM since its inception until 30th September, 2024 is provided in Annexure-I. (b) : A statement showing the funds released to State Governments under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) over the last five years is provided in Annexure-II.
