LAXMAN: Will the Minister of COAL be pleased to state: (a) the details of the reported increase in capital expenditure by Coal India Limited, Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) and NLC India Limited during the first quarter of Financial Year 2025–26; (b) the sector-wise allocation of this expenditure, including investments in renewable energy, coal gasification and employee welfare; and (c) the specific projects, employment generation and infrastructure benefits accruing to the State of Telangana, particularly through SCCL and the manner in which these investments support energy security and the clean energy transition? These ongoing mining and clean energy generation initiatives/projects have given a positive impetus towards ensuring energy security along with creating significant direct & indirect employment opportunities in the State of Telangana. ***** Page 2 of 2
