1137. SHRI TARIQ ANWAR:

Will the Minister of WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:

(a) the details of the beneficiaries, funds sanctioned/coverage under the Centrally Sponsored Schemes of the Ministry in the Seemanchal region of Bihar, district-wise, particularly in the districts of Katihar, Kishanganj, Purnea and Araria;

(b) the details of the projects sanctioned, Central assistance released, beneficiaries covered, alongwith the facilities established in the said districts under Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0, the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana and Sakhi One Stop Centre from the year 2023-24 till date; and

(c) whether the Government proposes to expand said Schemes, provide additional Central assistance and approve new projects in view of the socio-economic conditions of the Seemanchal region, if so, the details thereof? (a) to (c) The details of district-wise beneficiaries are not maintained under the schemes of the Ministry. The details of beneficiaries covered under the schemes of the Ministry in Bihar are annexed at Annexure-I.

Under the schemes of the Ministry, funds are released to the States and UTs for implementation of the scheme and funds are not directly released to the constituencies/ districts. The scheme-wise and year-wise details of the funds released under the schemes of the Ministry to the State of Bihar from the year 2023-24 till date are annexed at Annexure-II.The details of projects sanctioned in the districts of Katihar, Kishanganj, Purnea and Araria are as
