Will the Minister of CIVIL AVIATION
be pleased to state:-
(a) whether any airports have been closed during the last five years and if so, the details
thereof, year and airport-wise along with the reasons therefor;
(b) whether low passenger traffic is one of the reasons for such closures;
(c) if so, the number of airports closed specifically due to low passenger traffic; and
(d) the number of these closed airports proposed to be revived by the Government and the
expected timeline for such revival?
